Last week, we sent a big, creative, and amazing project out of our workshop door. It was designed by the industry’s most professional designers, and then came to us to bring it to the real world.
About this furniture project
These impressive assemblies, the tallest reaching over 5.5m, will be installed as a walk-through feature spelling out the name of a new housing development and featuring nature-inspired laser-cut motifs.
Aluminium Laser Cutting
All letters are laser cut from multiple pieces of 10 mm-thick 5083 aluminium, which have been edge-rounded and rolled to shape in 3m sections before being welded together to give the appearance of single pieces of channel. The base plates are also cut from 20 mm-thick 5083 aluminium!
In-house Fabrication
Our in-house fabrication team has shown off their skills and attention to detail on this job, giving the external faces such a seamless look that you wouldn’t believe we made from multiple pieces.
Planning and on-time delivery
This project required careful planning from the very start, including scheduling staged deliveries to ensure a smooth, on-time transition to the next stage. This will allow our client to deliver this stunning product to the site on time.
