GCI Group was selected to deliver a highly detailed metalwork package for The Star Casino, a landmark venue with world-class expectations. The scope included fabricating over 480 architectural panels from Rimex 2.0mm 304 stainless steel in Prestige Gold finish, with 279 panels entirely unique in size, shape, and detail. The material, rare and imported from Europe, required extreme care in both handling and processing.
CAD Design and Drafting Service
This project demanded a seamless workflow between our team and the client’s CAD department to refine and finalise all CAD drawings. Every detail is checked for precision before fabrication.
To meet the luxury finish requirements, we implemented additional quality controls, including the application of bend film to each panel before CNC folding. This protected the Prestige Gold surface from press marks and scratches, ensuring every panel arrived in showroom condition.
Our in-house capabilities in laser cutting and high-precision CNC folding allowed us to process the rare material efficiently and to the exacting standards required by the project.
Flatbed Laser Cut and CNC Folding
All 480 panels were laser-cut, folded and delivered on time, scratch-free, and installation-ready, with zero on-site modification required.
