Many of the laser cut parts that GCI process then go on to be powder coated or painted. Best practice as acknowledged in AS2312.2:2014 states that sharp edges must be removed to ensure coating adhesion. The GCI Group have invested in the LISMAC edge rounding machine to cater for this need.
The LISMAC brand dates back to 1979 and since its 2003 release of sheet metal processing tools, the company has set the bench mark for edge rounding machinery.
